Editorialge, Articleify and Tech Idea Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Editor-in-Chief Sukanta Kundu Parthib’s father — Jayanta Kumar Kundu — passed away.
He was 76.
According to a press release, Jayanta breathed his last around 5:20 p.m. on Sunday while seeking treatment at AMZ Hospital in Dhaka.
At the private hospital, he was being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under the supervision of Prominent Professor of Medicine Dr. Ahmedul Kabir and Internal Medicine Specialist Dr. Mohammad Sayem. Dr. Sayem, on the other hand, did his best in treating Jayanta.
On Monday afternoon, Jayanta, a renowned figure, was cremated at Dupchanchia’s Mahashashan Kalibari.
In the Dupchanchia upazila, Jayanta Kundu was a retired headmaster and former general secretary of the Bangladesh Primary Teachers’ Association. He was also a former vice-president of the association’s Bogura district unit. He obtained his graduate degree from University of Rajshahi in 1967.
For a long time, he had been suffering from different diseases as a result of his advanced age. He was an organizer in Bangladesh’s Liberation War in 1971, but he never claimed to be a freedom fighter because he never received a certificate. From the time he was a student, he was also interested in communist politics.
He left behind two sons, two daughters-in-law, grandsons, and granddaughters, as well as many fans and students.
Teams and their families of Editorialge, Articleify, and Tech Idea expressed deep shock and sorrow and condolences at the death of the prominent person.
