Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have chosen a name for their second child, and it’s been revealed a month after the baby boy’s birth.
According to reports from People magazine and Access Hollywood, the couple named their newborn son Riot Rose Mayers. The birth certificate indicates that he was born on August 1st in Los Angeles, with The Blast being the first to break this news.
Riot is the second son for this power couple, with their first child being RZA Mayers, who was born in May 2022.
It’s interesting to note that the family seems to have a penchant for names starting with the letter ‘R.’ This alliterative trend includes Riot, RZA, Robyn Rihanna Fenty (who is 35 years old), and Rakim Athelaston Mayers (34 years old), which is Rocky’s birth name. RZA’s name was inspired by a member of the Wu-Tang Clan.
While the couple hadn’t officially announced their newborn’s name to the public, Rocky did release a single titled “Riot (Rowdy Pipe’n)” earlier this summer. To confirm the news, USA TODAY.
