Brazilian legend Pele led global tributes to Diego Maradona. Board of Control for Cricket in India President Sourav Ganguly, cricket star Sachin Tendulkar mourned the death of the Argentine legend.
Leo Messi and Christiano Ronaldo also wrote heartfelt notes for late Diego Maradona.

The football magician died of heart attack on Wednesday evening local time. Not only his fans but also the entire world have been showing their love for Maradona in social media platforms.
Maradona played charity football with the current BCCI president, Sourav, after coming to Kolkata in 2017. Former Indian captain Sourav, who posted a photo of the time, expressed his love to the legend. he wrote: “My hero no more ..my mad genius rest in peace ..I watched football for you.”

The death of the childhood hero was mourned by the cricketer Suresh Rayna. “It was a great loss. Our childhood hero left. There are many memories. You will remain in our hearts and in our memories.”
