Deepika Padukone enjoys performing stunts on her own. Her athletic proclivity runs in her family. She had two back-to-back double roles in Om Shanti Om and Chandni Chowk while she was quite young in her career. Deepika Padukone had the opportunity to practice martial arts in China.

In Siddharth Anand’s Pathan, she finally gets another chance to do her own stunts, ditching all body doubles and plunging into her own stunts. In Pathan, Shah Rukh Khan is also taking some risks.
“Once upon a time,” the actress said to me, “I come from a household where participation in sports is expected. My younger sister is a professional golfer. We’re the kind of people who prefer to be outside. It’s a dream come true for me to be able to perform my own stunts on TV.”
Deepika was last seen in Kabir Khan’s 83 as the wife of cricketer Kapil Dev.
