Who doesn’t appreciate a slice of pizza every now and then? It just so happens to be one of our favorite go-to dishes, regardless of the occasion or time of day. Pepperoni is unquestionably at the top of most pizza fans’ wish lists. Indulging in a hearty pepperoni pizza appears to be the ideal method to satisfy hunger. What if we told you that scientists have discovered a comparable “pepperoni” storm on Jupiter’s surface? That’s right, you read that correctly. Outside the big planet, there is something that looks like this popular pizza topping.

NASA just posted a video on Instagram commemorating National Pizza Day. “How about Interplanetary Pizza Day?” they said in the caption. Our Juno spacecraft observed ‘pepperoni’ storms atop Jupiter.”

The space agency is well-known for its ability to capture photographs and films of space. With the clip of the “pepperoni” around Jupiter, NASA has piqued the interest of many of its followers. The video shows an infrared image of the planet’s north pole.

The video has had over 1.93 million views so far, and the figure is growing.

“Extra-large pepperoni pizza,” one of the fans wrote. “Spicy and hot.” “I just had a huge supper and now I want pizza,” said another. Another user stated that they “thought it was pizza.”
