Afghanistan slipped to 63/3 before skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi (80) and Azmatullah Omarzai (62) steadied the ship with a 121-run partnership. Bumrah outfoxed the Afghan batsmen with his variations while the other bowlers provided able support.
