Your Comeback from Cancer will Always be an Inspiration: Kohli Responds to Yuvraj

Yuvraj Singh won over the internet by giving Virat Kohli with a pair of golden boots and sending social media into a frenzy with a sweet tweet the day before, and the former India captain has reciprocated those thoughts with his own heartfelt post. Kohli hailed Yuvraj for the thoughtful gesture in a message on Instagram and Twitter, highlighting the former India all-battle rounder’s with cancer as an inspiration to people from all walks of life.

Kohli wrote, “Yuvi Pa, thank you for your beautiful gesture.” “It means a lot coming from someone who has been there since the beginning of my profession. Your life and fight against cancer have been, are, and will continue to be an inspiration to people from all walks of life, not just cricket fans.

“I’ve known you for who you are, and you’ve always been generous and considerate of others. Now that we’re both parents, we realize how fortunate we are. In this new adventure, I wish you happiness, great memories, and blessings. Yuvi Pa, may God bless you. Rab rakha, Rab rakha.”

Yuvraj and Kohli have known each other since they were colleagues in India from 2008 to 2017. Yuvraj and Kohli were both part of India’s World Cup-winning team in 2011, when the left-handed batter was crowned Player of the Tournament after scoring 362 runs and taking 15 wickets. Yuvraj was selected Player of the Match in four of India’s matches, and his final India game was against the West Indies in July of 2017 while Kohli was captain.
