On Tuesday (September 14), Apple unveiled its iPhone 13 lineup. Pink, blue, Midnight, Starlight, and product (RED) are available for the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini, while graphite, gold, silver, and Sierra blue are available for the iPhone 13 Pro.
The iPhone 13 models are listed below.
- iPhone 13 ($699) with a 6.1-inch screen
- iPhone 13 mini ($799) with a 5.4-inch screen
- iPhone 13 Pro ($999) with a 6.1-inch screen
- The iPhone 13 Pro Max ($1,099) has a 6.4-inch screen.
Graphite, gold, silver, and Sierra blue are available in the Pro versions.
They’ll be available for pre-order on Friday, September 17th, and will be released in shops on September 24th.
Cameras
The new iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 mini have diagonally oriented twin rear cameras. They include a 12MP wide-angle lens with an f/1.6 aperture and a 12MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.4 aperture.
On all iPhone 13 models, Night Mode is available.
Faster chip
The new A15 Bionic chip is used in the iPhone 13 series. Apple says that it is 50% faster than the competition.
Smaller notch
The iPhone X introduced the controversial “notch.” It comes with a microphone, speaker, and a TrueDepth camera for selfies and Face ID. The notch on the iPhone 13 is now 20 percent narrower.
Better Graphics
The iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max have a Super Retina XDR display with ProMotion, which allows for smoother video and scrolling at refresh rates from 10Hz to 120Hz. It will automatically adapt to save electricity.
Animated mode
The new Cinematic mode on the iPhone 13 range allows users to record film in Portrait mode. Users can manually move the emphasis from a front object to a background object or allow the feature to do it for them.
5G connectivity
The latest iPhone has 5G connectivity once again. What is the issue? In the United States, 5G coverage isn’t as good as it was last year. According to a comprehensive assessment from PCMag, only T-mid-band Mobile’s 5G network was faster than the current 4G networks.
This year, 5G will be advantageous to certain iPhone 13 buyers. People who wait until 2022 to update, on the other hand, will not be missing out on much.
Battery upgrade
The iPhone 12’s battery was actually smaller than the iPhone 11’s. This is most likely due to Apple’s need to incorporate new 5G components inside the phone. With the iPhone 13, Apple claims to have fixed the problem.
The iPhone 13 will last 2.5 hours longer than the iPhone 12, while the iPhone 13 small will survive 1.5 hours longer than the prior generation, according to Apple.
Option for more storage space
For all that high-resolution video you’ll be recording, the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max now have a 1TB storage option.
