It is a story that explores genuine incidents of people who have been victims of war atrocities or kidnappings, but with a fictional element in which the soldiers Prince and Bambi become action heroes who must deal with all kinds of challenging problems as they progress deeper and deeper into their mission.

The task was to write a fictional story situated in the actual world. We wanted to tell an honest story, so we spoke with people who had been in similar situations, such as kidnapping survivors in Colombia. “We also conducted a lot of research on historical situations, we studied persons who were members of the FARC, M19, or who fought against those groups, we tried to have as many genuine elements as possible and we merged them into the plot to make it meaningful,” the author explains.
